Owen & I look forward to Fridays because it is yoga day. We enjoy going to the yoga studio and stretching with the other moms and babies. Owen was very good at yoga today... although he wouldn't nurse until we got to the studio and, therefore, nursed for the first 20 minutes of the session (which is only about 1 hour long). Oh well, it gets us out of the house to socialize.
After yoga we went to the Thai restaurant next door for lunch with some of the moms and babies. I didn't think before ordering and selected a spicy dish. However, after nursing later in the day, it didn't seem to make Owen gassy (although his diapers were a little more funky than usual!).
Owen was very quiet and sleepy most of the day today. I think his two day fussy streak wore him out. He did a lot of napping today and when he was awake was quite content. That's the baby bug we love.
Tonight we all made a trip to Babies R Us. We decided to buy the co-sleeper. If it doesn't seem to work well over this weekend, we'll probably take it back (assuming we don't make a mess on it). While Owen is sleeping well with Mom in the bed, it seems like it could be a bit safer and may allow Dad back in the bedroom. In addition to the co-sleeper, we bought a little machine that makes sounds like the womb and other soft white noise. Owen really prefers to sleep and nap on one of our chest... we assume it is because he likes to hear our heartbeat, etc. We figure it doesn't hurt to try the sound effects.
I don't have a new photo from today, so I'll add some others from our trip to NJ.

How odd. I enjoy going to TGIFriday's because it's yogurt day. I also go there to stretch moms but thats another story altogether.
Actually it can hurt to try sound effects. That is, of course, if the noise maker you buy plays a cacophony of a poorly pirated Yanni concert mixed with thrashing, new age, Eastern European techo, instead of something soothing, like Kelly Clarkson.
