Unattached

Owen seems to be running a week late on most things... one week late to join us and one week late for his cord to fall off. But, finally, yesterday the last physical remants of his time in my womb were removed.

We were hoping to give Owen his first bath yesterday. Unfortunately, as it were, he was quite fussy throughout the day and we did not have a chance to give him one. Hopefully today we will -- and hopefully he will like it! We have not yet cracked the baby code and somedays soothing Owen is our only task.

Today we are expecting a few visitors - Rachel and Scott Byrd (and family). We'll be sure to take pictures and post them.
