It's the magic day (or so they say)! We have made it 6 weeks... and according to so many, this is when things start to get easier. But, we're not holding our breathe!
If it's a long-term fix, or just one day, Owen was much happier today. We had a good night's sleep (although his diaper leaked on the sheets) and woke up with a happy baby. Scott was at the office today, so Owen and I hung around the house. Most of the day, we laid low... watching TV and doing laundry.
I also sorted and rolled change. Part of the change was from Babcia's smurf bank (her constant savings for crib sheets -- apparently you can never have too many) and part was from our spare change collection. Combined we have more than $200 in coins (weighing in at more than 35 lbs). We'll send that money to Owen's ever growing college fund :)
Scott and I cooked dinner together tonight. Scott's contribution was a bit forced since Owen decided he wanted to eat in the middle of my cooking. We are making chicken parmigian (being in NJ makes me long for good Italian food). I think with dinner tonight I will indulge in a glass of red wine. (Hopefully it won't effect Owen too much... and if it does it'll probably just make him sedate, not gassy.)
Here are a few shots from today...
