Mr. Cranky Pants

The past few days have been trying ones. Owen has been very fussy... he spends more time crying and fussing than anything else (or at least that is how it seems). He was very cranky at my Grandmother's house this weekend and we blamed it on the travel. When we got back to VA, he was similarly cranky - and again, we blamed the travel. Now, yesterday and today he has been a fuss-pot, but it is hard to pin it to the travel anymore.

My Grandmother is so anxious about Owen's crying. She has been calling around to her "lady friends" to get advice for me. Everyday she calls me with little tips like drinking chamomile tea (and already doing but in a blend with mint since I don't like chamomile) and giving the Mylicon drops before he feeds. When she calls and hears him start to fuss, she immediately wants to get off the phone. I am so grateful she thinks of us but hope she doesn't worry too much.

I, myself, am such a worry-wart -- I either think he is developing colic or is sick. I figure if he is still really fussy tomorrow, I will call the pediatrician. I guess it can't hurt to call... and better safe than sorry (the motto of a new mom I'd guess).

I don't have a new photo for today. Much of the day was spent attending to Owen -- and he wasn't quite photogenic. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day...
