Today is Grandma's big day! Her birthday and first day on her new job! We are so happy for her and hope this new year brings all sorts of wonderful things. Owen wanted to send Grandma his love... so we took a picture to show her.
It's been snowing all day today... however, there is not much to show of it. The predictions were for almost a foot of snow, but we've only got about 1-2 inches. Either way, it makes for pretty scenery in our neighborhood. The ground and trees are all snow covered and make it serene.
I thought if I "threatened" to call the pediatrician about Owen's mucous it would stop (that's what happened last time I said I'd call the pediatrician). Unfortunately this time it didn't work... and by time I called they were gone. I hope he is feeling better tonight - but I will call first thing tomorrow!
By the way, the goulash was good; the dessert a failure. And... I have no idea what Rude was talking about ;)

Dutch Oven: When you hold the covers over someone's head after you've passed gas under them.
A "Dutch Oven" is not only a cooking device but the cruel practice of holding your bedmate under the covers after stinking up the joint with your rancid gas.
Thus the play on words that was, ultimately lost on everyone. Ah well.
